Description
A sparkling platinum and briolette diamond long necklace (110cm) inspired by the Art Deco period. One hundred and sixty five intricate briolette diamond beads (35.31ct) have been expertly drilled and set into this necklace to provide a subtle glimmer when worn around the neck. The briolette cut diamond has a rich history with examples dating back to the early 17th-century. This incredibly expensive and intricate cutting style was favoured during the Edwardian and Art Deco periods with large examples being set into pendant necklaces and drop earrings. Inspired by the geometry of the famed Art Deco period small millegrain edged diamond set platinum cube links have been set in between each briolette diamond, and perfectly complete this stunning necklace. An elegant addition to a jewellery collection this versatile piece can be worn stylishly to the waist as its full length or doubled to form a shorter necklace.
