Designed in Paris, made in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Reservoir is the passionate brand of François Moreau, whose inspiration brought life to a concept of creating watches that paid tribute to legendary racing drivers, pilots and precision instruments of the 1930s. Borrowing its logo from the famous design of the jerry can.
This pre-owned Reservoir 43mm Men's Watch has an unusual dial format, starting with an opaque black plate, which has been printed with contrasting white Arabic minute counters. These have been laid out in a speed gauge fashion, read by a retrograde hand. Towards the south of the dial is a clever hour window, below which is sat the astute power reserve indicator, designed as a fuel gauge. The round case is constructed of stainless steel, with a high polished angled bezel. The case front is protected by a highly scratch-proof sapphire crystal glass. To the reverse is a small window, allowing a partial view of the automatic movement.
Perfect for fans of motor racing or those who want an avant-garde watch design that breaks the status quo.
