One of the most recognisable complications in the collection, the 5159J-001 has been available in various different forms under different references for a good number of years. The elegant round Officer's case combined with traditional guilloché dial and numerals gives the watch a classic feeling whilst being fitted with the latest technology. The perpetual calendar takes account of the different number of days in each month and even the leap years so doesn't need adjusting, assuming the watch retains some power. The retrograde complication allows the date hand to flick back to the 1st of each month rather than progressing 360 degrees around the dial; complicated micro-engineering. The case is 38mm in diameter and water resistant down to 30 metres.
