Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse

First released in 1968, the Golden Ellipse has received a rather obvious update when the platinum cased model arrived - the 5738P-001. The watch has always been true Patek Philippe, sticking to their true design principles and honouring past milestones but in this instance the case was enlarged ever so slightly. Still retaining the automatic calibre 240 movement, the case is now a more generous 34.5 × 39.5mm which sits beautifully on the slightly larger wrist. The watch has a blue sunburst dial and comes on a blue alligator strap.
