The platinum version of the 5196, although sharing the same case and movement is a very different watch to its gold siblings. The dial has been completely changed being a careful combination of silvery grey and opaline white. The seconds subdial has been emphasized with Art Deco styled numerals and instead of sticking with batons for the hours Patek has chosen to move to Breguet numerals. Equally at home in casual or formal surroundings the 5196P is bolder than the white gold example, but no less elegant.
