Created in 1952, the Omega Constellation is one of the brand's early Chronometers. On the reverse of the solid case backs in this collection is an image of the Geneva Observatory that depicts its Chronometer status. The eight stars on the reverse represent the timekeeping achievement of the brand at that time.
This pre-owned vintage Omega Constellation 35mm Classic Watch is presented on a quarter divided silver dial, with gold applied baton indices. The engine at the heart of this timepiece is an early Omega Automatic Calibre. Housed in a round steel case from an era before 'griffe' claws had been introduced the watch front is protected from the elements by a traditional plexi glass, which is in keeping with watches of this period.
The rare opportunity to own a piece of Omega history. Extraordinarily presented with the original box and paperwork, which seldom survive the test of time. This timepiece is dated 1965.
