Created in 1952, the Omega Constellation is one of the brand's early Chronometers. On the reverse of the solid case backs in this collection is an image of the Geneva Observatory that depicts its Chronometer status. The eight stars on the reverse represent the timekeeping achievement of the brand at that time.
This pre-owned vintage Omega Constellation 42mm Classic Watch is presented on a quarter divided silver dial with matching silver baton indices. The engine at the heart of this timepiece is the Omega 2500 Automatic Calibre. Housed in a steel case with distinctive 'griffe' claws protecting the case sides. The watch front is protected from the elements by the anti-reflective coating covered sapphire crystal glass, which is scratch-resistant up to 9 on the Mohs scale.
