Masterpiece Pear Shaped Diamond & Keshi Pearl Pendant 8.15ct in Platinum
Pear, Cushion & Briolette Cut, Claw Set

Description
Breath taking articulated colourless (D) pear (8.14ct) and cushion (1.08ct) cut diamonds form the statement showpiece of our stunning pendant necklace. The soft lines of both diamond cuts perfectly complement each other, and work exceptionally well worn against the neck. Expertly designed by a member of the Pragnell family this duo of sparkling diamonds has been suspended from a tactile necklace featuring creamy lustrous uniquely shaped Keshi pearls and rare briolette cut diamonds. Diamonds and pearls work exceptionally well when paired in jewellery creations with the fire from the diamonds bringing the surface of the pearls to life. The specific combination of pearls and unusual faceted briolette cut diamonds was popular amongst the most famous residents of the Place Vendome in the late 19th-century. As a sixth generation family jeweller Pragnell are experts at sourcing the rarest and most sought after gemstones in the world. Inspiration for this latest addition to our Masterpiece Collection was taken from iconic Coronation earrings that form part of the Royal Collection, and were first worn by Queen Victoria in 1858. These were worn by the current Queen Elizabeth II to her Coronation in 1953, and feature prominently in photographs moving with the motion of gold state carriage. Reimagined as an elegant pendant necklace in gleaming platinum, the addition of brilliants and pearls continues our homage to the Queen as she enters her platinum jubilee year. As a sixth generation family jewellery Pragnell are experts at sourcing the rarest and most sought after gemstones.
