Rare Natural Pearls Adorn Drop Earrings

Natural pearls were once the reserve of royalty. Therefore, it makes sense that these incredibly rare gems should be the star of a design to mark 30 years – an anniversary long associated with pearls – of Her Majesty the Queen’s reign.

The skill in the creation of these 18ct white gold earrings was the curation of the greyish-rose natural. All were liberated from antique jewels and painstakingly matched up to create a flawless graduation in size. Round brilliant diamonds add a brilliance to these luminous earrings. The design of the earrings was inspired by a sketch found in the archives of Philip Antrobus, the jeweller that created the Queen’s engagement ring and which is owned by sixth-generation British family jeweller Pragnell.
