Description
A striking platinum, yellow gold, sapphire and diamond cluster ring from the 1980s. A central 2.00ct oval cut diamond has been expertly secured in gleaming platinum claws, and surrounded by smaller sparkling brilliants (0.80ct). An eye-catching arrangement of deep blue marquise and pear cut sapphires (1.75ct) has been set on to the top sections of each shoulder, and completes the design. Combining four different cuts of diamonds and sapphires along with yellow gold and platinum, this piece is a fantastic showpiece of craftsmanship. The more unusual marquise cut was incredibly popular during the 1980s, with the narrow pointed forms of these stones providing definition and interest. A beautiful piece which combines the birthstones for both April and September, this is perfect to be worn and enjoyed from day to night. Check Specifications for ring size details.
