Originally founded in 1833, Jaeger-LeCoultre has been acknowledged since the nineteenth century as one of the most prestigious watch houses of the Vallée de Joux. The company boasts over 200 patents and more than 1,000 different calibres developed and crafted under one roof; several iconic models include the Reverso, the Duomètre and the Atmos. Some of their achievements include the first alarm watch, the thinnest movement and the smallest movement. Queen Elizabeth II wore a JLC at her coronation in 1953. JLC's fine timepieces enjoy not only a well-deserved reputation as products of one of the world's finest watchmakers, but also as some of the best value models in the world of high-end watches.
